Defining RUP software developing framework in JIRA

Hi all,

In the case of creating a software based project, there are two agile based options, SCRUM and Kanban , which we can select to create the project. Is it possible to create a software developing project based on the RUP (Ralational Unified Process) framework in JIRA?

I am not familiar with RUP. The short answer is that you can model any workflow process that you want in Jira. While Jira Software focuses on Agile software development, of which Scrum and Kanban are two leading methodologies, any workflow that you can model can be implemented in Jira.

Dear Derek,

Many thanks for your reply. In the case of SCRUM projects, JIRA provides us with useful facilities like backlog, story point, Burndown chart and so on. It is so appreciated if there be a predefined template for RUP projects same as SCRUM one in order to defining RUP projects using it.

I am not aware of any available RUP templates. You will have to create this for yourself.
