Custom filed updated with last updated priority filed value

Question

How can we update custome filed based on priority filed change.

That means

We have custome filed id  23490 and custome field name "change field info"

When we update priority filed for incident then automatically update last priority info to custome filed id  23490 .

Please let me know best approach and jira  code for senario

Seems to looks you are updated current value of priority updated to field "change field info"

But actual requirement is h

Wen the priority field change to new value then custome field needs to update with prious prioty field value
