Changing Context path once logged in as an Admin

evens.cross@acendrefederal.com September 27, 2019

Hello,

Im running into this issue consistently:

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Jira-does-not-start-with-Java-exceptions-how-to-fix/qaq-p/844046

If I change the context path in the server.xml setting, and then restart jira the website comes up fine. How can I change the context back without restarting jira? Im thinking there must be a setting inside the jira admin settings.

Thank you,

No, the context path is set as Tomcat loads up, reading from the server.xml.  There's no way to change it while the software is running.
