I think I saw in an Atlassian email the possibility to the status field as a dropdown directly in the dashboard. Is it possible or was I dreaming?
I have Jira server 8.13.6 but I can't see it.

The dashboard doesn't have any dropdown. It will display the widget and filters you have set.
The status field in Jira Cloud issue view is a drop down vs buttons.

So there is no one-click way to change the status of an issue from the dashboard. Users need to click on the three dots and then select the status they want to move to issue to?
