Can we set default value of Group Picker (Single) field on Incoming Side.

Hello,

We don't have Group Picker (Single) field on Outgoing Side

But on Incoming side, It is must to set the value of that field. (Because of some automation rules)

Is there anyway to set default value on Incoming side.

Per your description, I understand that you would like to set a default value to your group picker field, however, I must confess that I didn't understand what you mean by "Incoming Side" or "Outcoming Side". Can you elaborate a little bit more?

Here are the steps to set a default value to your Group picker Custom field:

1 - Navigate to Jira Settings > Issues > Custom fields > Find your field and click in the three dots menu (..) at the right side > Contexts and Default valuel.

2 - Click to edit default value to set the value you want to be displayed in the field > Save it.
