I would like to be able to send a email to a "jiraticket address?" and get the email added to the work log of a specific ticket within my company's Jira system.
If I had ticket WEB-1234
Can I email my team and also a email address that points to our Jira and specific ticket - and get that email added to a specific ticket comments or work log?
just by using a specific email address or something.
Example email would look like myjiraticket_WEB-1234@mycompany.com
... just asking.
Thanks
Harley
Hi Harley:
You should be able to configure what gets added to the ticket, by using the incoming mail handler. One of the options for incoming mail is "add a comment with the entire email body"
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
By default if you send an email to the Email channel address and put the Ticket number in the subject ie. Ticket-111 then the message will be added to that ticket as a comment.

I don't know how to find the email channel address for my organization.
How can i find that?
Thanks
