Can I migrate our JIRA server type 8.20.12 version to Open or Adoptium OpenJDK Java 11 JDK8 / 11

Hi Team,

Our current running JIRA software of server type version 8.20.12 can be migrated to  Open JDK or Adoptium OpenJDK Java 11 / JDK 8 ? 

We have another BMABOO which also needs to be migrate the DK to Open JDK 8/11. 

In both cases, can I use Open JDK 8/11 to be migrated? please help me to decide this to avoid future consequences.

Hi @Devendar Gangapuram Yes, you can migrate to JAVA 8/11 as Jira version 8.20.12 is supported to JAVA version 8 and 11 there will be no issues.

I recommended to test it on lower instance as there may be some changes in the JAVA classes, method before making changes on production
