Basic user stats with the Jira API?

Deleted user May 22, 2017

My client wants to have "basic user stats" much like information you would get from Google Analytics - Pageviews, unique users etc.

Ive been looking into the API documentation but cant really find anything like it.

Is it possible to retrieve such information?

Best,

Jonathan

JIRA doesn't internally track read activity, so you'll need to add stuff to do it for you.

Thank you Nic!
Do you have any tips or recommendations for anything I can add. We were thinking about Google Tag Manager..

Not specifically for JIRA - I've used Google Analytics on it, although we found that there was so much "view" activity, it wasn't telling us much of any use.  Bit more useful on Confluence.

I don't know how GTM might be used.
