Are there any good workflow diagram tools for Jira?

The workflow diagram view that now comes with Jira DEFINITELY helps, don't get me wrong.  Editing workflows prior to that was awful.  That said, the diagram view still lacks refinement.  Its very easy to have overlapping lines in the diagram.  You can't choose the paths or add additional anchor points to workflow statuses.  It becomes very difficult to read when one line has arrowtips at both ends and/or multiple start & end points after branching off.  Are there any other tools that will take workflow data and create a diagram that is optimized for human eyes?
