Paul Prata May 30, 2024

Creating some charts to show our category of tickets but the charts do not display all the data for the current month. Is there a way to display the correct volume?

Hello @Paul Prata

We will need you to provide more information in order to help you.

How did you create the chart? What type of chart is it? Can you provide a screen image  of it?

How is the information not correct? What do you expect the chart to display? Can you provide the details of issues that you think should be included that are not being included?

I have a support ticket opened with this. https://support.atlassian.com/requests/PCS-289070/

I'm sorry for the confusion. Here is the update.

The pie charts (JSM Charts) on the right-side work but when you create additional charts the colors do not match, and I do not have a way to change it. The charts on the left (Custom Chart) work and I can control the colors but the numbers to not match the charts on the right. It only displays up to 2500.

The chart on the left appears to be provided by a third party app rather than being native functionality of JSM. Do you know what third party app is supplying that functionality? If you are unsure, I recommend that you check with your Jira Administrators.

Then I would recommend that you review the vendor provided documentation for that app to see if it provides information that clarifies the discrepancy.

If you share with us the name of the third party app and the configurations you have set for each of these gadgets, we might be able to do similar research and help you find an answer.

Hi Trudy, I'm using this for the chart on the left.

  1. Add a gadget
  2. Search gadget - Custom
  3. scroll down and look for Jira Custom Chartscustomchart.PNG

Thank you for that screen image. That tells us the gadget is definitely coming from a third party app provided by Appfire.

Can you tell us the details for how you configured that gadget?
