How can I calculate days in particular status (i.e."In progress") for all parents in sprint?

JIRA does not handle this particularly well, but there is a KB that explains what options are available for this:

Tracking the time taken for each workflow transition

From that page there mention of the JIRA charts, but this really only shows the average time, not the specific time for each issue.

If you're looking for more specific info on each issue:

The JIRA Suite Utilties plugin adds this functionality to JIRA.

The Time in Status plugin also can provide this functionality in JIRA.
