In java Core..
I created a custom field that lets me choose one of a list say 'red','white', or 'blue' is it possible to edit the field and add the color 'yellow'to the list of choices?
I seem to be able to edit the field description but not the choices.
....Just been told I should be using configure not edit....should have played a bit more
Thanks Manon
Hello,
I guess you're clicking on "Edit" instead of "Configure". You need to click on "Configure" to access your custom fields' options, see documentation here.
Hope it helps,

I don't see a cog in the custom fields list. please help locate this - these instructions at the documentation didn't get me there either.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
I've noticed the ability to configure no longer exists either. I can't find any documentation on it, and I feel like I am going crazy.

Cog on top right corner -> Issues -> Custome Fields -> [User Custome Filed]
Three dots at the listed custom fields click and "Contexts and Dafault Values"
This takes you to another screen with the title Configure Custom Field: Component
At the bottom click on Edit Default Values if you want a default value for the Drop Down List just created.
Or Edit Options if you want to add more values to this list.

Bumping this as the cog or option to configure a custom field can't be found. Here are two screenshots of a specific approver field I am trying to add more users to. There is no configure? Or am I misunderstanding?

I have posted the same above just copying here for ease
