We are now using Jira Service Desk (Server 4.1.0) as our IT ticketing system. I am trying to recreate ticket types I've used in other ticketing systems.
At the moment I am trying to create a Request Type like a service request, with predefined sub-tasks.
For example, New Hire
1. Created Active Directory object
2. Provision hardware - laptop
3. Provision VPN credentials & token
etc.
I find it simple enough to ADD a sub-task, but can't seem to find a way to create a Request with these predefined sub-tasks (task, service requests, whatever)
Hi @Allan Ross
You can't create such request with these predefined subtasks. However, you can add a post function (or a Jira automation rule) after the ticket has been raised, in order to create automatically these subtasks. Let me know if that helps!
