How do you create a linked issue in the New Issue View on Jira Service Desk?
There used to be an option (three dots, top right) to 'Create Linked Issue' and I cannot see this on the New Issue View.
Create Linked Issue is now available in the new issue view of Jira Service Desk. It can be accessed as a link via the "Link issue" button:
Hello Sam,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Currently, the option to create linked issue is not available in the new issue view. We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

Please, click on vote and watch in order to hear about updates on the development cycle.

Angélica

This is a feature used over 100 times a week within our Service Desk. We cannot move to the New Issue View without this.

This is seriously effecting our workflow. Why would you get rid of a core feature and not have an alternative in place...i dont understand!?!
Whoever made this decision clearly never thought of the technical implications!
Please sort it out asap.

Hi @Caroline Bartle is there any way to create a linked issue from the issue view in a software project? This is what I see:
But in a service desk project I see an additional link below showing "+ Create linked issue". Is there any way to have that link here as well?

I'm afraid not @Matias - this functionality is only available in Service Management and Business projects.

The Create Linked Issue feature is most frequently used by support teams (in JSM) or business teams (in Jira Core) to raise bugs, improvements etc in the backlogs of software teams. Hence why it exists in those two products / project types.
I'm afraid that there are no plans to release it to Jira Software anytime soon.

We often have questions from folks using Jira Service Management about the benefits to using Premium. Check out this video to learn how you can unlock even more value in our Premium plan. &nb...
