I want to make sure that the creator of an issue can not approve it himself. I saw screenshots with a field "Exclude approvers from:" (e.g. reporters). That is exactly what I'm looking for. However, I can't find this field in my instance.
Is it possible that this field is only available in JSM Cloud? I'm using Data Center. Is there an alternative way to achieve this?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
Tim
Hi, @Tim H_ 👋
I hate being the bearer of bad news... Unfortunately, this is not possible today in the Jira or Jira Service Management Data Center platform.
You may wish to add your vote and your voice to this outstanding suggestion for this feature: JSDSERVER-5441
I know of no workaround, nor is one mentioned in the JSM/JSD or the related Jira ticket, and Atlassian is pretty good about listing known workarounds in these tickets.

thank you for your response. In the end, I used the JMWE add-on to realize it slightly different. I added a condition to the transition itself. Only members of group A can trigger it. The transition leads to the actual approval step, where a member of group B has to be selected as an approver. That works for me.
Best regards,
Tim
