We have multiple applications based on application field value we need to assign the ticket automatically to Group (Plugin Field - plugin Group assignee).

Welcome to the community!!
This can also be achieved using Automation, within Jira Service Management.
The automation rules have 3 parts, Trigger, Condition and Action.
For this case, the Trigger would be ticket creation; the Condition would be the Application Name and the Action would be setting the Assignee.
Here, we can even have multiple application names in the same condition.
