Accessing custom user field in automation

I created a custom user field Reviewer:

When I am trying to access it with `{{issue.Reviewer}}` I am not getting any results.

My end goal is to send email to all the users in Reviewer field:

The People field on next-gen (team-managed) project is currently not supported in Automation. 

There are feature requests suggesting this improvement:

• Support the People field
• Automation for Jira doesn't display User Picker fields from Next-gen projects

There is a workaround on the description that might help you as well.
