verify domain fails even with https ... what i'm doing wrong? Edited

For the the customer notification I'll try to add the "support@neucom.de" email adress. Therefore I'll have to verify the domain "neucom.de"

I added the file on the root folder:verify_fail3.PNG

verify_fail3.PNG

Adding several pictures seems to be buggy ... so I'll add the next ones here:

I can access the file via browser with https:

verify_fail2.PNG

The ssl certificate is from https://letsencrypt.org/. Is this the problem? Its CA and browser shows "sicher" (="secure").

Or do I miss something else?

I'm having the exact same issue. I'm doing everything right, same instructions, yet it won't verify. I can access the file just fine, why can't this system.
