If I'm in a JIRA Project record, I can see "Add Subtask" under the "More" dropdown button. However, in a Service Desk Project, this option is not displayed. Is there a configuration option I am missing? How does an agent create a subtask in Service Desk?
My experience : You can add Sub-task as a valid task type to a Service Desk project. It is not installed during a default creation of a service desk project however.
Warning: I do not know if this conflicts with any other Service Desk rules. I wanted to use this to see if I could assign a sub-task to a non-Service Desk agent such as a developer. (for example can you research this and get back to me) . However, Service Desk does not allow the assignment of even a Sub-task to a non-Service Desk agent so it wasn't quite as useful as I'd hoped.
