Automation triggered by insights

Hello,

I'm having difficulties to set up an easy automation rule to send a teams message on a specific channel whenever a new insight is added into an jira product discovery idea.

Below is the screenshot of the rule (the rule is currently not even triggered)

The teams part should not be an issue as I have several rules up and running with the same final step.

I believe my trigger is not correct

Any tips ?

Hi, unfortunately that is not possible yet and is one of the known limitations for JPD and automation rules:

That feature is quite unusable without it, as PMs have no visibility on when Insights get added to the ideas backlog, and we can set a process around scoring insights, and properly leveraging the formula for prioritizing ideas based on validation. We are eagerly looking forward to an update on this soon so that we can finally operationalize properly the use of Jira Discovery to create a culture where everyone is responsible for validating the desirability of ideas.

Is there a place I can follow or up-vote the ability to setup automations when a new insight is added to an idea i'm assigned to and/or get notifications in this case, similar to comments? Really want/need this!

Or maybe you want to remove the option from the trigger. Now it's confusing.
