Hi Nic and thanks for the prompt reply. In our current application, we do client authentication and single sign on using crowd. Since JIRA will be the only application that we will be using SSO using CROWD will no longer be needed which begs the question of how do we modify our Java based rest service to not use the CROWD authentication class of CrowdClient.

Is there a jira class that mirrors the CrowdHttpAuthenticator crowd class. I want to perform authentication using a jira class in the same way that the crowd http authentication class allows.
