Yes, we can use scripted post functions via script runner plugin. There, we will be able to write groovy scripts to do post functions based on conditions.

Sorry. There wasn't a way to delete a question. I actually found the plugin plus script forum post from 2012 and was just trying to search to see if there was any update.
