What is according to your experience the best plugin to perform all those tasks:

  1.  Read/ write SQL in an external database
  2. conditionnal display of a field
  3. Manage transitions
  4. Retrieve users' manager in an external database
  5. Fill in custom field from external database
  6. ADFS integration
  7. Email notifications
