we are using JIRA in our company and additionally Go2Group's ConnectALL to synchronize between JIRA and HPQC.
Our problem is: The synchronization of a field is only possible if the field appears on the Create-Screen in JIRA. This does not make sense for our aims that some fields need to be on the Create-Screen.
We opened a request at the ConnectALL support and they answered: "The JIRA RestAPI doesn't support the fields to get it from the EDIT screens, hence the fields that has to be synchronized should be available on Both Create and EDIT screens of Jira."
An example: We have a field called "Teststatus" and it can only be synced from HPQC to JIRA if it appears on the Create-Screen in JIRA. The problem is that the value is synced from QC and we don't want a JIRA user to have it on the Create-Screen.
Is there a way for you to fix this problem soon?

Have you had a chance to look into this issue? To continue with our project we're interested in finding out if the REST API supports getting the values from the edit screens. Therefore we'd like to make sure that we understand the specifications of the REST API correctly.

The fields in the createmeta correspond to the fields in the create screen for the project/issuetype. Fields not in the screen will not be in the createmeta.
To sych your fields, by nature of being created, those fields had to come from create screen.
