One of my projects has a "backlog" button on the left side. When I click it, it pulls up the board associated with that project. I created a copy of the board from that board page, and now the copy is associated with the backlog button instead of the original. This means that there is some sort of association mechanism present. How do I manipulate it? I don't want the copy to be the new default "backlog" board for the project.

It stores the last open board and shows that board as the "default backlog" option. So if you open the old default board again using "boards in project" section then you will have that board as the default in the backlog button section.
