How do I restrict user's access to Project level?

Raja Himanath Upparlapalli September 27, 2016

For ex, I want some users to only look at the project that they are working on but not other projects.

i went to user groups and created some but was only able to add people to the group but not assign project level access. Can someone please let me know the steps to achieve this. Thank you

You need to go through the permissions for each project that you do not want them to see, work out how they are getting access, and remove that.

The usual one is "Browse permission granted to Role of users" combined with "the group jira-users is in the role of users".  If it's that, you need to remove jira-users from the role and then let in the users who should have access by some other route.

RAJA, this can be done by replacing the default project role and group mapping with groups that include only members of specific teams.
