How can I remove previous sprints when I clone a ticket?

Hi @Desiree Graste

As you have found Clone does exactly what it says on the tin... It Clones the existing issue in its entirety including the spring field.

There are a couple of options to help you...

  1. Use Bob Swifts Clone+ plugin which gives you greater control over exactly what is cloned.
  2. Add the sprint field to your edit screen and then manually remove after a clone has been completed.
  3. Set a post-condition on the create issue transition to empty the sprint field upon creation. (I have never done this in practice as I always prefer manual over automated actions where there is a possibility of losing data.)

Thank you for your answer. Will figure out if this works for us!
