Too Slow issue/secure/AjaxIssueEditAction!default.jspa

Dear All

The search screen allows inline editing.

However, the rest api (for edit entry. issue/secure/AjaxIssueEditAction!default.jspa) is too slow. (5~10 sec.)

Is there a way to improve speed?

And what if I want to prevent the inline edit function without pressing the edit button?

Please help me if you know.

Hello,

If your issue/secure/AjaxIssueEditAction!default.jspa is too slow, then it must be one of the plugins, which is installed into your Jira instace. Try to switch Jira to safe mode and check if issue/secure/AjaxIssueEditAction!default.jspa still works slow. If it works fine, then enable your plugins one by one and you will find the plugin, which degrades your Jira instance.

You can not prevent the inline edit function. if a field is on the Edit screnn, it can be inline edited in the view screen.

Disable inline editing by removing edit issue permission for all users. See :https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-disable-inline-editing-376833061.html

However, I second what Alexey just said.

How is the performance of other functions?

Hi!

Just curious, why do you think it is related to the apps ?

I just checked on safe mode the same result

@JongBum Lee What was the issue? I have same Problem..

Thanks,

Heiko
