Setting permissions on at an issue level

Fabiano.Mornatta April 12, 2019

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to understand if, within a same project, I can have tasks/issues that are only viewable by a defined list of users (e.g. based on a specific label or component or whatever).

Thanks in advance for help!

Fab

Hi @Fabiano.Mornatta

You could use the issue level security for this.

Add the users that should be allowed to see it in a specific group.

After you set up the different security levels, you can automatically add a security level with the plugin Automation for JIRA when an issue is created that should be viewable to the selection of people that you set up in the security level

Regards

Dave

Thanks,  Dave, that was exactly what I was looking for! I'll study docs about it...
