Setting page restriction on Confluence Server (not Cloud)

Craig Anderson March 21, 2023

I'm trying to set restrictions on a page using Confluence Server.  I have the solution for Confluence Cloud, but that does not work for Confluence Server.

Looking at this document , I don't see how to do it.

Also, I'm not sure which server API version the server implements - any way to get that?

I've seen some solutions on the community, but those answers are kinda old.

Edit: Fix - Jira -> Confluence

Hi @Craig Anderson

Page is a Confluence termilogy not JIRA, so are you looking for Confluence or JIRA ?

You just have to type the version of the project followed by REST API on google to find the documentation for your product api version.

Yes, I meant Confluence, not Jira.

How do I tell what version of the API the server implements?  I don't control the server.

You have the version of confluence on the bottom of the page that list all space for instance.

For confluence 8.1.1 it's this api rest to refer to

https://docs.atlassian.com/ConfluenceServer/rest/8.1.1/

Regarding page restriction.
