Set assignee to another user in post function

Question

I'm brand new to Scriptrunner. I tried using the example set assignee and it's failing. I want to set the assignee of a subtask to a certain Jira user when Scriptrunner creates the subtask. How can I accomplish that?

You could try setting up the post function in the sub-task upon the creation of the sub-task to set the assignee.

I’m using cloud

the subtask workflow is different than the main task workflow.

Are you on Atlassian Cloud or Server?

Is the subtask workflow the same or different from the workflow you are creating the sub-task from?
