Running total with Structure formula

I want to create a custom formula column in my structure so that it shows a running total of a issue field, like Planned Effort.  A rough way to determine where to cut off to fit the maximum capacity.

Is there a way to create such a formula in the Structure?

Hi @Sam Li,

You could try the Issue Filter Formula or the Advanced Issue Filter Formula gadgets offered by our Great Gadgets app.

These gadgets allow you to calculate and display the result of a math formula against the field of the issues from a Jira filter.

In your case, create a Jira filter that returns that issues from the structure and then configure the gadget to calculate the SUM of Planned Effort field.

This app offers many other useful gadgets for project tracking. Just have a look over the articles from our blog to make an idea.

I hope this helps. If you need any help in configuring these gadgets, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@stonikbyte.com.
