According to the documentation an issue falls off the board after 14 days of inactivity when it's in the last column (in my case the DONE column). Is there a way to have it come off sooner or is there a way to not show the DONE column on the board but still be able to change status in the issue to done?

Hello,

I guess, you are talking about next-gen boards. It is not possible to control the date, when an issue is removed from a next-board. It is always 14days.
