Hello,
Anyone know why the JIRA app notifications have stopped working for one of my team members and how to fix it? He's using the app on an iphone and is no longer getting notifications of new assignments.

Our team has experienced this same issue, and noticed it as well. I've done everything short of uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
We'll also submit a help ticket.

Regarding the app, what app is he using? Your post is tagged as a Server instance. It is my understanding that the Jira mobile app is cloud only. But that may have changed.

I would request you to raise a support ticket with the current mobile app version, device type (iOS/ Android). Their might be a block on messages which can be checked by Atlassian team and resolve the issue.
Alternatively, Atlassian has published the troubleshooting document for this kind of issues you should be checking.
