How to modify the synchronization frequency about JIRA and Active Directory

Hi :
I have a question. I had set up a configurtion of adding a Microsoft Active Dircetory intergrated with JIRA, At the beginning I set the synchronization frequency as 3600s, but right now I want to change it to 300s. I modified the related database value and restart jira servcie. but it doesn't seem to work. My jira's version is 8.5.0. Could you please help me to figure out the reason. Thank you in advance.
