Has anyone used the issue.description to generate multiple descriptions in a post function

I'm using post functions to generate subtasks when my JIRA Task is generated and I would like to add in a couple of steps in the description field when the subtask is generated. Here's what would like to show in the description field. Any idea how I can get this into the description field of the generated subtask?

"a. If needed, create subtasks for each Module"
"b. The SME creates and delivers to the Core Team the raw content for each Module"
"c. The Core Team produces the Module"
"d. Review each Module to ensure it has the same quality as the 1st Article"
"e. Repeat Step 4 until all Modules are complete"
