Jira Align is an enterprise agile platform, as such it follows agile practices.

Story points are by team, never by individual. You won't a "story point per assignee" metric in any real agile tool or platform, it simply doesn't exist because the agile umbrella (including scrum and kanban) is a team-based methodology, not an individual-utilization-based methodology like traditional PMP waterfall.

Peter

there are certain people in the team whose skillsets are critical and therefore within the team we want to understand when these people will be free in future sprints.

This would likely fall under how you track capacity at the team level for individuals sprint by sprint.

So for example you can set an individual to be 100% dedicated to a team, but set capacity for each sprints.  So maybe that person will be 50% dedicated to their team in Sprint 2 and 3 and the other 50% on another team for those sprints.
