Unable to pull changes from Git to servicenow

SUNIL SABALE March 6, 2018

We are not able to pull the changes from git to our vendor instance  It only works with one user. We are able to login to git without any issues and import application onto other instances easily. Below is the error we are getting.

"An error occurred while executing that operation. Try again, check logs, and contact support if the error persists: com.glide.sourcecontrol.SourceControlException: org.eclipse.jgit.api.errors.JGitInternalException: Cannot read f111b1cc7cbd61463d247a3c17b48d212490b7d2: "

Please let us know the exact cause and solution for above problem.

Hi Sunil, you mean from Bitbucket to ServiceNow?

As you're importing to their Service Now, you'll need to contact them for assistance, you can reach their Community at ServiceNow Community.

Hope that helps!

Hi Ana,

We contacted to service now community, but they replied that its a bitbucket related error. So better contact to Atlassian.

Hi Sunil, normally it's the destination service the one that needs to provide assistance when moving to the platform, but I'll try to help you troubleshoot the issue and see if we can find the problem. We'll need more info, please answer the following:

  1. You said you're not able to pull the changes from git to your vendor instance, do you mean from Bitbucket to Servicenow? If you're moving from Bitbucket, is it Cloud or Server? Which version is it?
  2. How are you performing this migration? Are you using some tool?
  3. What operation are you performing when you get that error?
  4. You said it only works with one user. Are there any differences between the environment of this user and the rest?
  5. Have you checked the logs? Do you get any more information there?

Best regards!

Ana
