Git Essentials Requirements

Deepak Arora July 1, 2014

Do we need Bamboo if we want to setup Git Essentials product? The price shown is for four products. We have Agile, Jira and wish to use Bitbucket with Git essentials and we are not at a stage to start using Bamboo. So can we just buy Git Essentials and use it with Jira, Agile, and Bitbucket?

Hi Deepak,

The GIT Essentials is an easy way to purchase the (JIRA Agile, Bitbucket and Bamboo) for Ondemand platform or (JIRA Agile, Stash and Bamboo) for StandAlone platform through just one click.

But is the same you acquire the products separately, one by one.

To help you better I’m sending to you the respective links of the products: JIRA, JIRA Agile and Bitbucket:

Kind Regards,
Henrique Lechner

I see..so it's not a separate product. So how do we get that "create branch" link in an issue that is shown in the demo? Is that a default feature in JIRA?

Deepak,

Yes, it’s a native feature, the first step is link the JIRA to Bitbucket, there is the documentation as you can see on the following link:
