Hi there,
we have 2 different problems with IE ver10 and confluence:
1)we can not enter dot (.) as much as we want in the editor (in chrome is possible)
2) we can do edit in word (however with IE11 there is no any problem)
thank you.
Hi Hanieh,
Can you check if the fix version (upgrading) or the workaround for this bug report will work with you in order to insert the period in the editor for IE? If even upgrading, trying the workaround, can you check if there's any extension that could be disabled to see how it goes?
For editing in Word, the same goes here: As this is not happening in IE, can you confirm if this is affecting even Firefox or is it related to only Chrome? If possible, try to disable the extensions and see how it goes. In case of having the same issue persisting, can you provide us some information on what's happening when you click on "Edit in Word" not using IE?
PS: If both issues are pretty critical for you, don't forget to raise a new support ticket with us through our Support channel (https://support.atlassian.com) so we can work in a ticket with you.

Hi Eduardo,
we are using
Confluence API | 5.3.1 |
windows base.
How about the edit in office on IE. everything on server is configured like: office connector plugin is installed and Allow authentication tokens in the URL path is marked and installed java on browser as well.
How can I solve this problem in confluence.
thank you
Hanieh

Hello Hanieh,
Can you let us know which version of Confluence you're using?
