We are currently using Confluence 7.4.3 (Data Center) and Jira 8.5.5 (Data Center) and both systems are connected to each other via "Application Links" settings.
When people highlight a text in Confluece and select the "Create Jira issue" feature, the following error is displayed:
"The version of selected Jira server is not supported. You may want to upgrade to the newer version or create issue in Jira."
Is this really a version compatibility issue or are we missing some settings? If the versions don't fit to each other, how can we know what version pairs would provide us the complete feature set? Is there a table listing all "perfect" version pairs?
