published sites are not where they should

one of our user figured out a problem while using comala publishing.

When he is publishing sites from the workspace to the space that is set as the destination the sites are not at the exact spot where they are in the workspace. The Sites are on the same level as the homepage from the space and are not visible in the page tree and have to be placed manually where they should be

Does anyone know why this happens?

thanks in advance,

Hello Sebastian,
Thanks for reaching out.

Please check that the pages are direct descendants of the homepage, and that the name of the parent pages is identical.

If the setup is correct and the pages still get published in the wrong hierarchy, let's have a quick troubleshooting session where I can have a better look at your instance.

Feel free to contact me directly at

Best Regards,
