can't find advanced settings for ldap

tom off August 25, 2014

In manual there are such options: User Object Filter , User Display Name Attribute, Group Object Filter , etc...

I can't find this options in advanced settings of LDAP, I see only : Enable Nested Groups, Use Paged Results results per page , Follow Referrals.

May be it is trial restrictions ?

Hi Tom, I see in your screenshot that you're using the internal with LDAP authentication directory, this mean that you'll only see those fields if you mark the option Copy User on Login.

I hope it helps.

I'm using last version (5.5.6) on Centos OS 6.5.

I can't find this in settings: general -> User Directories -> Edit Ldap authentication (on page, where connection settings for LDAP)

Hi Tom, the fields User Object Filter and User Display Name Attribute are actually located in User Schema Settings and Group Object Filter in Group Schema Settings.

I hope it helps.

There are no restrictions on a trial (other than the timebomb that some functions stop working after expiry)

I think we need to know where you're looking, what version of Confluence, and what documentation is leading you to ask where the advanced settings are!
