attachment on confluence and NAS

Brice Hugon May 18, 2015

Hi,

In my team, the specifications are stored on a NAS, but I would like to move them to Confluence. Problem is, the specification team wants to keep a version on the NAS and on Confluence...

Is there a way to configure Confluence to mirror a NAS directory? Or to publish an file updated on Confluence to the NAS?

Thanks

Hi Brice,

I could find this old answer that might help you in this question. However, in terms to duplicate the attachments files, this might require some additional setting in the network.

Cheers,

Rodrigo

Hi Brice,

Maybe you could create a solution with asynchronous replication. I mean, you have the attachments on Confluence, and then you setup a script to synchronise after the data after any change or after 1 minute. However, it will cost more I/O and network latency.
