We installed confluence with the standard installation for Windows on a Windows Server 2016.
So far I can connect via web to the confluence site. Now we installed a SSL certification for the confluence server and modified the server.xml under Programfiles\Atlassin\Confluence\conf\server.xlm
Now its responding with the https://url...::8443
Now I want to set a new DNS CNAME entry in our Windows Domain. For a DNS record its not possible to add a specific port.
So My question is. Which webserver is normally installed with the confluence standard installation and do I need a additional web server /proxy like apache or nginx to solve the port issue in my case?
