I'm currently testing to see if Confluence fit our needs. I'm curious to see what others are using page properties for. It is really easy to create index pages showing the properties but more uses than that I have not found. I am not a programmer but I would be interested to know what the possibilites are with page properties.
Thank you!
Yes, Guilherme, I've tried the both options and I've come to realise those two are probably enough. The reason I asked the question is simply that I cannot think of any other uses than to create lists and categorise pages. Somebody must have done something creative with properties.
Hello Christian, you probably have seen the current available parameters for the Page Properties Report output - outlined in the following https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Page+Properties+Report+Macro#PagePropertiesReportMacro-Parameters. Another method for cataloguing pages is to use labels, being the bundled feature or third-party options - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?application=confluence&category=&cost=&hosting=&marketingLabel=&q=label Would it be possible to detail the type of functionality/parameter you seek since that can help possible participants in this post thread?
