Hello,

From my understanding, you want to know how to know that when you update an add-on, it won't affect your Confluence performance. Is that right?

Many of the add-on vendors have already tested their add-ons before releasing them to Marketplace. It does happen, however, that an updated version of an add-on can cause issues within the Confluence site. The best way to test for this is to just start using the add-on. If you encounter any issues, you can manually disable the add-on to confirm that resolves the problem.

See How to Manually Remove Malfunctioning Add-ons for more information on how to do that.

If there's something more specific you were looking to do, please let me know.

Take care,

Shannon
