Version 7.4.411

Got an email about a security issue with COnfluence server (6-2-2022).  In getting the fix, it states only a few versions, 7.11 - 7.18 etc.

I have version 7.4.11

Does this security issue affect our version?

I followed the instructions but it's still showing 7.4.11.  Does replacing the 2 files and adding the class file not show the updated version number?

Hi @Chris Howard

The advisory recommends that you upgrade Confluence as a long term fix for this vulnerability.

However the mitigation steps in the advisory are not how you upgrade Confluence.  For instructions with that, you might want to see Upgrading Confluence.

The mitigation steps in the advisory are intended to prevent Confluence from being exploited without upgrading.  Those steps are recommended if you cannot upgrade right away.

Yes, 7.4.11 is affected.  Please upgrade to 7.4.17 or one of the other fixed versions listed in the advisory.
