Using the Google Search Appliance with Confluence

My company is using Confluence, and on my team's page I'd like to provide our users with the ability to query our Google Search Appliance (GSA). The GSA is attached to our secure file storage area, and allows our users to do all the magic of Google search with our files.

Is there any problem with using the GSA with Confluence?

Do we just drop the GSA search box into our Confluence Search field, and that's it?

Is it really this easy...?

We're looking into do this now, and so far it seems that easy... you give up a couple niceties (like the labels on the Confluence/Lucene SERP), but you gain so much...
