Unable to import space from PROD to UAT which is using Scroll versions plugin

Question

Hi, We are trying to import a confluence space from PROD to UAT where the space is using Scroll versions plugin. Also, we see that the titles of few pages are modified in different versions during the custom export.

Will that make an issue during the import of the space. We are not facing any issue if we are custom importing the same space with selected pages where there is no change in page title across all its versions.

Can you explain your situation in more detail? My understanding is that you currently want to export a space from a server instance 'Prod' with Scroll Versions and import it to another data center instance 'UAT'. Did I understand that correctly?

In case you are moving from a server instance to a cloud instance, please note that Scroll Versions is not available on cloud! You should check out our Scroll Apps Migration Hub, which guides you through the whole process of moving platforms and apps.

What I can assure you so far is that no page titles are changed during the export. My guess is that this may be the first time you have consciously seen the so-called "dot pages". They are only created for a version if the content was edited in that version, which is why they are also referred to as Change pages. (See our docs: Scroll Versions - Change pages)
